Opatija Riviera

and its surroundings begins already in 1844 with the building of Villa Angiolina. Till the end of the 19th century the town is known for its pleasant climate and is visited by guests from all over Europe and the wold. One of the attractions of the Riviera is the magnificent coastal path, the 12km long Lungomare – starting from Volosko through Opatija all the way to Lovran. The pebble beaches of Medveja and Mošćenička Draga are also known to nature lovers, while mountain Učka offers many walking paths.
