Excursions with private car

These tours are tailor made to best suit the vishes of our clients. Our special recommendation is a visit to central Istria, which is often compared to Tuscany because of similarities in climate and landscape. Another recommended way to find out more about local traditions and culture is through food in one of the Istrian agrotourism farms. Transport can be  arranged with a private car (up to 4 guests) or a minibus (up to 8 guests).

Motovun draws its origins from pre-history, as there had been a hill fort village in the bronze age. A walk on top of the city walls opens an unforgettable view down to the Mirna river and the Učka mountain. Livade, in the vicinity of Motovun, is known as the truffle centre of Istria.

Grožnjan hosting many art galleries,  is known as the city of artists. During the summer months Grožnjan is the host of many music workshops with students and teachers coming from all over the world.

Hum is the well renowned “smallest town in the world” because of its tradition of voting for its mayor originating from the medieval era. Close to the town is the Church of St Jerome from the 12th century with fragments of medieval frescoes.
